Main Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Main Accountant to join our team. The person in this position will be responsible for independently and comprehensively managing accounting, HR & payroll, and financial processes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar position, preferably in the IT industry
• Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, Fakturownia, Rewizor, Gratyfikant, and Subiekt
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles, payroll policies, and tax regulations
• Experience with handling foreign currencies
• Experience working with the Tax Office
• Experience in accounting for EU-funded projects
• Ability to analyze and report financial results and collaborate at a strategic level (with C-level executives)
• Proficiency in English at a communicative level

Responsibilities

Invoicing:

• Management of the Fakturownia cloud-based tool
• Issuing self-billed invoices and benefit invoices (Subiekt)
• Processing compensations in Rewizor
• Generating bank instructions and importing them into the banking system
• Issuing and reconciling invoices with clients

HR and Payroll:

• Working with the Gratyfikant program on a remote desktop
• Understanding and optimizing HR and payroll processes
• Calculating payroll
• Generating bank instructions and importing them into the banking system

Financial Accounting:

• Managing accounting in the Rewizor program
• Recording documents, including invoices, payroll, bank transactions, depreciation, accruals, and other items, in line with the company's accounting policies and chart of accounts
• Preparing dedicated financial reports
• Timely generation and submission of VAT form to the Tax Office
• Handling audits and inspections

Reporting:

• Exporting and verifying data from Rewizor
• Double-checking time tracking reports
• Comparing purchased and sold hours, explaining discrepancies, and correcting them if necessary
• Analyzing results, chargeability, projects, and developers based on key metrics
• Monitoring budget realization, discussing deviations, and updating budgets and forecasts for upcoming months/quarters
